King Abdullah Medical City includes 500 beds and 8 specialized centers. They are the Oncology Center, the Heart Center, the Specialized Surgery Center, the Neurosciences Center, the Eye Health Center, the Head, Neck and Skull Base Health Center, the Digestive System and Liver Health Center, and the Modern organ transplantation, as well as includes medical and medical services.
The Medical City receives medical referrals from Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, and the areas close to it within the scope of the specialized medical services entrusted to it. KAMC is one of the medical cities affiliated to the Ministry of Health, and a member of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Health Cluster. The Medical City is considered a distinguished medical and educational structure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This medical city has obtained several international and local awards and accreditations, since its establishment in 2010 & King Abdulaziz Award for Quality (Golden Level) is the most important one. The medical city has received the accreditation from the International Accreditation Commission (JCI) for three consecutive sessions, and accreditation from the Saudi Center for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) for two consecutive sessions. As well as the accreditation of AAHRPP for two consecutive sessions, which is the American accreditation to protect participants in research. The executive management of the Medical City is keen to adhere to the highest standards of quality and patient safety to provide its specialized services.
