OPD
Outpatient department (01+02) is located in front of Oncology gate of main hospital building.
OPD1 has two main enter and exit doors except emergencies exits
OPD2 has one door for enter and exit except emergencies exits

ACUTE CARE UNIT
Acute Care Unit contains 16 beds that provides expeditious care to those patients that are signed into the unit, conscious sedation and highly acute patient and overflow of level II patients in Resuscitation Unit. This area sees patients with pulmonary complaints, especially COPD and asthma exacerbations.

TRIAGE AREA
Triage is the process of determining the priority of patients' treatments based on the severity of their condition. Triage Area is a 2-bed units equipped with Dinamap to take vital signs, ECG machine and Glucometer machine. All the complaints will be recorded then patients will be shifted inside the ER depending on the acuity. The triage process follows the CTAS.

Radiology Department
provides diagnostic and Therapeutic services (Neuroradiology, body imaging ,nuclear medicine, vascular-interventional radiology including body and neuro-intervention, Breast Imaging).
· We also provide resident training program in various subspecialties.
· Community services for Breast Cancer Awareness .
· Fellowship Training Program in Interventional Radiology .

DLC and the Advanced Endoscopy Center
Our endoscopy centre is located at the ground floor adjacent to emergency department. The recovery area consists of six (6) bays. This area is in close proximity to our 5 procedure rooms and freely accessible by recovery trolley. Each bay is well equipped with advanced monitoring system, and has its own oxygen supply and wall mounted-suction. We have mobile endoscopy unit that can reach sick patients in ICU for maximum patient safety.

​Health Education Clinic for Neurologists
The aim of the clinic is to increase awareness among neuroscience Patients and their families so that they can deal with the different conditions of these diseases by spreading medical awareness to the patients by providing them with important information about their medical conditions, understanding the medical conditions of their illness, helping them to make the right decisions and better deal with their health situation.

Health education clinic for patients with internal medicine and surgery
The aim of the clinic is to increase awareness among diabetes patients and their families so that they can deal with the different conditions of this disease through:
- Focus on the importance of monitoring blood glucose at home.
- Learn how to deal with diabetes in special conditions and conditions (high blood sugar, acidity, low blood sugar, travel, sick days, school ... etc.

Health education clinic for cardiac patients
The aim of the clinic is to increase awareness among heart patients and their families so that they can overcome their health problems and exercise a healthy lifestyle free from the factors that can cause heart disease, God forbid.

Early detection clinic for breast cancer
The goal of the clinic is to raise awareness among women over the age of 40 and those who have a family history of breast cancer, the importance of early examination of breast tumors, early detection of disease and ease of treatment and the rate of recovery be higher,
- Clinical examination of women over the age of 40 and above
- (mammagrams)
- Explain how breast self-examination works monthly
- Receiving cases transferred from health care centers
- Follow up cases annually
- Participation in rehabilitation programs for patients after breast cancer

Specialized medical unit
Specialized medical unit is located at the 2nd floor of KAMC main building with 24 beds including one negative pressure rooms, tow room with single bed, and 11 rooms with double beds for each.
The medical Department offers the resident of western region and other areas access to the highest quality of treatment for medical diseases. Using state of the art technology, medical unit team can diagnose and treat a wide range of medical diseases and conditions including, pulmonar hypertension,COPD, neuroendocrine tumers, hyperparathyroidism, , AKI kidny transplant patient, ESRF with line sepsis, DVT,PE not for ICU, bedredden patient with muli-medical problems and pneumonia, dialysis for in-patient, Rheumatiod arthritis, undiagnosed, active Rheumatiod arthritis,infalamatory myopathy, parathyroid adenoma, cautanous T cell lymphoma.
medical is staffed with physicians certified, registered nurse licensed who are certified in BLS accredited by the american heart association

Surgical unit
is an established subspecialty unit of King Abdullah Medical City, providing tertiary and quaternary services of surgical health care, in the field of Hepatobiliary, Colorectal, Breast & Endocrine, Thoracic, Gynae-Oncology, Urology, ENT, vascular, Plastic, Maxillofacial and Obesity & Minimal Invasive Surgery.

Cardiac ward
Cardiac ward at KAMC consist of 49 beds, including 2 negative pressure beds, 2 Isolation beds and 1 VIP room, that provides clinical, hemodynamic monitoring and treatment of adult patients with acute and chronic cardiac illness.
The duty hours of the cardiac ward are 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Neuroscience Unit
NSU at KAMC located in the 3nd floor with total capacity of 25 beds including one negative pressure room and one isolation room. Provides neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedic, and spine services for the inpatients, round the clock and 7 days a week, working hours 48 hours per week /12 hours per shift. 

Oncology Center(Makkah Center) :

The Oncology Center has an Adult Oncology Department (37) bed, Palliative Department (10) bed, and Adult Hematology department (15) bed and chemotherapy treatment areas for adult male and female patients (19) ​bed.

Jeddah Center :
1. Adult Oncology Department (31) bed
2. Step Down ICU- 2 Beds
3. Chemotherapy treatment areas for adult male and female patients (14) bed.
4. Thirty Nine (39) Clinic per Week.

The Operating Room Department has four locations and are listed below based on the services provided:
1. The Main Operating Room Department (Ground Floor)
- Consist of 8 Operating theatres catering General surgeries, ENT surgeries, Vascular, Thoracic surgeries, OB Gyne, Urology, Maxillo Facial, Orthopedic, Plastic Surgeries and Pain Intervention.
- 10 active beds for Post Anesthesia Care Unit
2. Day Care Surgery Department (Ground Floor)
- All Opthalmology surgeries i.e. Phacoemulsification, PPV
- 4 beds for Post Anesthesia Care Unit
3. Cardiac Center (First Floor Adjacent to Cath Lab)
- All Cardiac related surgeries i.e. CABG, MVR, AVR
- 02 operating rooms and one hybrid room in cath lab , Cardiac patients are directly shifted to CSICU post-operatively.
4. Neuro-Spine Center (First Floor Beside Neuro ICU)
- All Neuro-Spine surgeries i.e. Craniotomy, Disc Decompression, Discectomy
- 03 operating rooms and 2 beds for Post Anesthesia Care Unit.

Cath.Lab
Cardiac catheterization laboratory is located at the first floor of the KAMC’s main building, performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures. Our department consists of three state-of-the-art catheterization labs including a hybrid room and supported by a 5-bed capacity Recovery Unit.
The Cardiac Cath lab (invasive) follows all King Abdullah Medical City and Research Center policies. The hospital is accredited and recommended by the Joint Commission International and CBAHI.

CSICU
The cardiac surgical intensive care unit provides care for adult patients requiring intensive care for the patient population after cardiac surgery. This population includes patients requiring or having previously heart surgery.

CCU
The Coronary Care Unit (CCU) located in first floor, provides comprehensive 24-hour nursing care for adult patients requiring Cardiac intensive care. The most common conditions are:
- Acute Coronary Syndrome
- Congestive heart failure/cardiomyopathy
- Recurrent/malignant dysrrhythmia
Patients receiving interventional procedures for cardiac conditions (PTCA, stent implantation, valvuloplasty, pericardial lead implementation, catheter ablations) are also treated. Additional conditions treated include cardiogenic shock, hypertensive crisis, endocarditis, hemodynamic instability, Ventilated patient, malfunctioning ICDs and pacemakers
Hemodialysis Unit
- Seven total hemodialysis beds 6 beds in Kidney Care Unit and 1 located in Intensive Care Unit
- Working hours is 24 hours a day for 7 days per week. Total working hours for a staff is 48 hours weekly with 12 hours shift, including day and night shift.

Intensive Care Unit (ICU):
1-Medical Intensive Care Unit will receive all unstable cases secondary to infectious diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, rheumatologic or autoimmune diseases, drug overdose, diabetes, electrolyte imbalances, endocrine disorders, acute renal failure, acute respiratory failure, hemodynamic unstable, multi‐system organ dysfunction, unstable Oncology and Neurology cases.
2-Surgical Intensive Care Unit will receive Post major surgery cases, Post transplant cases, Peri-operative complicated cases and Post anesthesia high risk cases including Head and Neck, Thoracic and abdominal Surgeries
3-Medical Intensive care cases within KAMC scope of service for Internal Medicine cases.
4-Surgical Intensive care patients with KAMC scope of service for surgical cases.
5-Medical Oncology intensive care patients.
6-Hematology Oncology intensive care patients.
7-Critical care patients need facility available only in tertiary hospital.
8-Patient had KAMC primary team acceptance
9-Scope for cases from outside the KAMC: Patients need ICU care with facilities available only in tertiary hospital.
10-Out of Kamc Intensive Care Unit Scope:
    a-All cases of infective origin needing ECMO.
    b-All patients does not tertiary care.
    c-Patients without primary care acceptance
